RESONANCE OF SPIRIT
A Practical Guide to Psychological Typology,
the I Ching and Human Personality
Joyful gospel music at a Baptist tent revival in Macon, Georgia inspires a Muslim man to deepen his covenant with Allah; witnessing a Buddhist purification ceremony near a tragic car crash, a Mormon nurse is moved to explore a new form of meditation; a once observant Jew rekindles his faith after experiencing the ritual of six Native American men inside a sweat lodge. Each reveals a different example of the Resonance of Spirit.
Spiritual practice (not necessarily religious) is an essential component of feng shui, personal well-being and connectedness to life. For many people determining which practice resonates with and complements, rather than contradicts other aspects of one's life, is a great challenge. Understanding the resonance of spirit allows a deeper development of our relationship with our personal energetics and divine source, as well as a respectful appreciation of other paths that of the introvert, the extrovert, the talker, the listener, the idealist, the pragmatic, the vegetarian, the meat-eater, the yogic adept, the marathon runner ...
Based on a simple yet profound examination of the essence of personality types, the exquisite order and interconnectedness of the I Ching hexagrams, and the essential teachings of Buddha, Jesus, Moses, St. Francis of Assisi, Mohammed and Lao Tzu, this course develops, over two days, a mandala of universal harmony. This is a fascinating journey into the blend of our personal psychology and spiritual perspectives, leading us closer to our core beliefs and our connection to all that is sacred in life.
